A Tour of the Church

During the first week of school, each class went into the church and toured all of the different aspects of our church.  They got an up close look at Mary and Joseph's statues, got to stand at the Ambo and pretend to read from the lectionary, sit in Father's chair, stand around the altar and look inside the tabernacle!  They also go to see into the Confessional where Father talks to people about their problems.  This is an excellent experience for the children and proves very valuable when the children are in the church for Mass.
